Murder victim's inquest opened

THE INQUEST of a woman stabbed to death in her own home has been opened.

Worcestershire Coroners Court confirmed today (Thursday) they had opened and adjourned the inquest of 21-year-old Kirsty Ann Wright.

The Evesham Road resident was stabbed on Saturday, March 15, and died the following day in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

Akeel Hussain, aged 29 and of Pembroke Croft in Birmingham, has been charged with her murder and is currently awaiting trial.
