A BOY was taken to hospital after a crash on the Alcester Road in Studley.

The incident near the Tesco Express happened just before 4pm on Monday (March 24) and involved the 12-year-old, who was believed to be on a push scooter, and a black Mini.

He suffered a bump to the head and was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precautionary measure while the 27-year-old woman driving the Mini was not injured.

A Warwickshire Police spokeswoman said traffic was moving very slowly at the time of the collision.
