A PAIR of youths were robbed at knifepoint for their mobile phones.

The victims, aged 14 and 15, were sitting in the bus shelter at the bottom of Easemore Road near the junction of Dolphin Road about 8pm last Friday (March 21).

They were approached by two young men who demanded their phones and one of the robbers brandished a knife and pressed it against the thigh of one of the teenagers.

Both the victims handed over their Blackberry and Samsung Galaxy phones worth a total of £400 before the thieves fled towards the Five Tunnels.

The robbers were both in their late teens, one was mixed race, tall, skinny and wearing a dark green parka style jacket with dark tracksuit bottoms.

The second was white and wore a black hooded top or jacket with a hood worn over his head and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

There was also a third person who stood across the road. He was white, also in his late teens, of medium build, and wore a cream or white tracksuit top and bottoms.

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Det Con Jordan Baker on 101 quoting incident 663-s-210314 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
