TYRES worth £3,000 were stolen during a burglary on an industrial estate.
The incident happened at Mr Tyre on Arthur Street between 6.30pm last Friday (March 14) and 8.30am the following day (Saturday).
Offenders climbed on to the pitched corrugated roof and made five two-foot square holes in it. They got in and stole 100 tyres from the storage racks and left the same way.
Police say they would have needed a van or heavy goods vehicles to transport them in. The amount of damage caused to the roof is not known.
Anyone with any information should call PC Stu Collins on 101, quoting incident number 194-s-150313, or Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
