A ROW in a nightclub led to four men being kicked and punched during an assault in Redditch Town Centre.

The victims had been in Fever when they got into an altercation with another group of men. When they left the club about 2am on Sunday (March 16) they were followed by the same group of men who attacked them on Unicorn Hill.

A 22-year-old man sustained a cut to his eye which bled profusely and affected his vision, requiring treatment at Birmingham Eye Hospital. A 25-year-old man sustained cuts and bruises and a lump to his head and was kept in overnight at the Alexandra Hospital for observation, while two other men aged 22 and 23 were also taken to the Woodrow Drive hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

Three men in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently on police bail pending further inquiries.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should contact PC Damian Elcock at West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident 91-s-160314 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
