A MAN charged with the murder of a Redditch woman will appear at Worcester Crown Court tomorrow (Wednesday).

Akeel Hussain, of Pembroke Croft in Birmingham, entered no plea at Worcester Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday) as he stood charged with stabbing Kirsty Wright to death.

Miss Wright was taken to the Alexandra Hospital with serious stab wounds after an incident at a house on Evesham Road on Saturday (March 15).

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals the 21-year-old passed away on Sunday (March 16).

Hussain, who is 29, was remanded in custody.
