THE DRIVER of a car which did not stop after a crash with a pedestrian is being sought by police.
The incident happened at 8.50am on Tuesday (March 18) at the traffic lights at the junction of Bromsgrove Road and Plymouth Road and involved a 44-year-old man and a metallic grey car, believed to be a new shape Vauxhall Insignia, which carried on in the direction of Bromsgrove Road.
The man was taken by ambulance to the Alexandra Hospital with leg injuries and is now in plaster, although he did not break any bones.
PC Andy Cadwallader of West Mercia Police said: “We would like to trace the driver involved. It is possible they did not realise there had been a collision, so we would urge them to come forward."
Anyone with any information should call PC Cadwallader on 101, quoting incident 108-s-180314.
