STAFF at a borough supermarket are set to cycle for 24 hours without leaving their store to mark this year’s Sport Relief event.

The static bike ride will start next Friday (March 21) at Sainsbury’s using a bike donated by Elite Fitness with other fund-raising activities including a flash mob for colleagues and a mile run around Arrow Valley Lake for residents starting at 10.30am.

Those wanting to help the charity, which raises funds for disadvantaged people in the UK and abroad, without breaking a sweat can pick up the sponsored merchandise in store.
