SECOND World War medals were among items stolen by burglars at a home near Inkberrow.
The incident happened at a property in Abbots Morton between 12.15pm and 7pm on Saturday (March 8) when intruders smashed a window with a stone.
They stole three Second World War campaign medals, three Pandora bracelets with charms and two pairs of cufflinks - one pair made by Studio 5 which were silver and square with a stone in the centre and a second oval pair with a lattice design in a gold colour.
Also taken were an Acer laptop with a 15.6in screen, an Advent laptop, a small digital camera and a Vodafone mobile phone.
Det Con Alistair Mulcaster said: "The medals and the jewellery are very distinctive and we want to hear from anyone who has been offered items matching their descriptions.
"We are also appealing for witnesses to come forward who saw or heard anything suspicious or an unfamiliar vehicle in Abbots Morton last Saturday.
"It seems likely they used a Laura Ashley embroidered white pillowcase to carry the stolen items and if anyone finds it we are asking them to contact us immediately."
Anyone with any information should call DC Mulcaster on 101, quoting incident number 618-S-080314, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
