Circus rolling up in Studley

HAND balancing, aerial acrobats and dangerous juggling will all be on offer when the country’s oldest circus comes to Studley.

A feast of entertainment is expected when the Circus Ginnett pitches up at the recreation ground between next Friday and Sunday (March 14 to 16).

Since the 1800s the troupe has wowed visitors with its traditional performances that have a modern twist for the young and old.

International artists from the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Hungary, Ireland and England will take to the Big Top to bring a mix of high quality acts, humour and excitement.

The show’s climax features a spectacular motorcycle carousel which sees breathtaking aerial work above fire and knife juggling.

Shows run from 6.30pm on Friday, 3pm and 6pm on Saturday, and 2pm on Sunday.

Tickets cost £9 for adults and £7 for children but anyone who mentions this story will get a discount ticket for £6.
