CHILDREN from across the borough and beyond had a flippin’ good time celebrating Pancake Day.

Those from Noah’s Ark Nursery created their own pancakes from play dough as part of Shrove Tuesday (March 4) and then held their own race in the nursery’s garden.

Pupils and staff from Crown Meadow First School and Nursery in Alvechurch also got in the spirit of the day tossing the sweet treats in the school’s playground.
