A FORMER Redditch headteacher is alleged to have watched a woman undressing in a changing room, a court has heard.

David Doubtfire of Westholme Road, in Bidford-on-Avon, appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Friday (March 7) charged with observing another person doing a private act for sexual gratification.

The incident is alleged to have happened at Evesham Leisure Centre on July 17, last year.

The former Walkwood Middle School headteacher has also been charged with three counts of possessing extreme pornographic images which show a person having sex with a live animal between August 9, 2012 and July 31 last year, in Redditch. Two involved a dog and one a horse.

The 51-year-old did not enter a plea and is set to stand trial on June 23 at Worcester Crown Court.

He was released on bail on the conditions he does not enter Evesham Leisure Centre, any communal changing room area and does not use any computer unless it can retain all history and information, and can be viewed by the police.
