Arrest after Cash Converters robbery

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of stealing more than £2,000 of gold jewellery during a robbery.

The incident saw Asian gold jewellery taken from Cash Converters on Unicorn Hill on Saturday (March 1).

Detectives arrested a 19-year-old in the Batchley area of the town this morning (Thursday) in connection with the robbery.

He was taken to Kidderminster Police Station and remains in custody helping officers with their inquiries.
