PUPILS at Tardebigge First School have helped a borough charity after receiving a piece of life-saving equipment.

Redditch Heart Safe donated a defibrillator to the Church Lane school and in return children and staff dressed in red and pink on Valentine’s Day, raising £541 for the charity.

A school spokeswoman said they held a cake sale and Heart Safe also had a stall at the school during the day to help raise the money. They are also set to hold future events to raise more funds.
