SCRAP items have been turned into more than 30 robots by Matchborough pupils and their families.

Matchborough First School challenged Year 2 children and their families to build a robot during an annual event.

A school spokeswoman said: “We now have a super display of over 30 robots of varying shapes, sizes and designs in our entrance hall.

“It was good to see so many dads, grandads and uncles attending the workshop.

“This has developed into an annual event and it gives us the chance to meet family members and allow them to work alongside their children and grandchildren.”
