Motorcyclist and driver in crash

A MOTORCYCLIST and driver needed hospital treatment after a crash in Woodrow.

The incident happened opposite the Jolly Farmer pub shortly after 8pm on Thursday (February 13). Two ambulances, Midlands Air Ambulance staff travelling in a car with a doctor, two fire crews and police all attended.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, suffered a suspected leg fractured and was immobilised and taken to the Alexandra Hospital.

The driver of the car, a woman also in her 20s, was released from her car by the fire service using cutting equipment and was also taken to the Alex with abdominal pain.
