A TRIO of talented dancers will be travelling to Manchester for a prestigious event after excelling in their exams.

Lucy Worthington from Webheath, Katie Ward from Southcrest and Bromsgrove-based Elle-Jo Darby all attend the Latham School of Dance at Studley Castle. They have been invited to the scholarship classes next Saturday (February 22) after Lucy achieved more than 90 per cent in her intermediary performers exam while the other two reached the same score in their grade six ballet.

Sue Latham said: “We are absolutely over the moon. Lucy has been twice before so she is obviously doing something right.

“The fact we have got three from our school is quite an accolade and we are thrilled the three of them are going. They all live to dance.”
