A BEOLEY school was transformed into a gallery as part of a week dedicated to the arts.

Children from Beoley First School sold artwork based on famous artists to parents as part of the week which involved the entire school.

Pupils also took part in a trip to the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, as well as being visited by a dancer.

All the money raised through sales will go back into the Parent Teacher Association funds and will be used to buy more art equipment for the school.

Headteacher Sally Davies said: “The children were very proud to show off their work. It was brilliant to see the different mediums used and it was a fantastic way of promoting all forms of art in the school.”
