Drive carefully in bad weather

MOTORISTS are being urged to drive carefully in stormy weather.

Worcestershire County Council issued the warning after the Met Office predicted more rain and strong winds for the days ahead.

As well as using caution when driving, residents are being asked to check on any vulnerable neighbours they think may need help.

A spokeswoman said: "With adverse weather continuing to affect Worcestershire, residents should be aware of possible localised surface water flooding, as well as some disruption in general.

"With that in mind, if you spot any problems on the roads, please get in touch via the online 'report it' section of the county council's website.

"Motorists are urged not to drive into flood water because of the possibility of hidden hazards."
