A TIME capsule has been buried to mark the end of Redditch Golf Club’s 100th anniversary year.
Included in the capsule was a range of centenary memorabilia and a special menu signed by VIP guest Peter Allis and president Bill Keen from the club’s recent anniversary dinner.
Centenary committee member Peter Nash, who designed and sealed the capsule, said it would provide future generations a picture of how the Lower Grinsty Lane club recognised the landmark occasion.
Centenary captain Tom Sheldon added: “This was a really fitting way to mark what was a momentous year and I am very proud to have been club captain during our 100th year.”
