AN ELECTRIC saw was used to cut through a UPVC door during a burglary in Woodrow.
The owner of the home in Martley Close, returned home to discover the bolt on a gate had been unscrewed and a panel in a rear door had been sawn through.
It happened between Tuesday, January 7 and Monday (January 28).
Items taken included a laptop, 300 to 400 Euros, a leather watch, a sliver necklace with a blue coral steer head design and six bottles of malt whisky.
Rings including three half sovereigns, a ruby signet, and a bottle of champagne were also taken.
A considerable amount of noise would have been made when thieves tried to get into the house and police would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything over the last three weeks.
Witnesses or anyone with any information should contact DC O’Reilly on 101, quoting incident 343-s-270114, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
