A MAN exposed himself to a woman as she walked along a Church Hill footpath.

The vicitm, who is in her 50s, was walking by the old park off Upper Field Close towards Church HIll Centre about 7am on Monday, January 27.

A man appeared from behind a wall and the woman challenged him before she ran away.

He was white, possibly in his 30s, about 6ft tall and was wearing a dark hooded top, dark coloured trousers and dark trainers.

PC Stephen Woodman said: "The woman was quite shaken up by this and it was a very unpleasant experience for her. It may well be that someone else saw this man in that area beforehand or leaving afterwards."

Police have stepped up high-visibility patrols in the area to provide reassurance and a deterrent.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call PC Woodman at Redditch Police Station on 101, quoting incident reference 63-S-270114, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
