GENEROUS staff at a town centre bank handed over a food parcel to a borough charity to help those less fortunate over Christmas.

The team at Halifax on Evesham Walk put together a hamper which was donated to Redditch Nightstop ahead of the festive period.

A bank spokeswoman said: “Here at the Halifax we pride ourselves on being a community bank. Staff at the Redditch branch decided to get together to offer support to a local initiative this Christmas.

“We contacted Redditch Nightstop as we had heard fantastic news about how they support vulnerable young adults in Redditch, and being right next door to us in Evesham Walk meant it was a perfect opportunity for us to get involved with supporting the community.”
