VULNERABLE members of the community received hampers thanks to a care company in Winyates Green.

A total of ten residents were given the Christmas boxes by Old Friends Care, based on Far Moor Lane, with a Victorian themed Christmas party held to celebrate the festive season.

Community support manager Joan Linford said: “They were really grateful and very surprised because they weren’t expecting them. The party went really well and they all seemed to enjoy it.”

She added she wished to thank the choir from Moons Moat First School, Morrisons for their donation towards the hampers and the staff.
