A WOMAN was left with a cut to her forehead after being hit by a bottle thrown outside a Headless Cross bar.

The incident happened between 10.30pm and 10.55pm on Friday, December 20, when the 42-year-old victim was queueing to enter Steps Bar and Bistro in Evesham Road.

She saw two men arguing and then felt a sharp pain to her head, a witness told her she had been hit by a bottle thrown by a young man fighting with another man.

He was between 17 and 21 with spiky hair and was wearing a grey jumper with a big collar.

She was taken by police to the Alexandra Hospital where it is believed the wound was glued.

Anyone with any information should call PC Joann Jinks on 101, quoting incident reference number 841-s-201213, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
