BEAVERS fell silent to raise money for those affected by typhoon Haiyan which devastated parts of the Philippines.

Astwood Bank Beaver Scouts raised over £100 after holding a sponsored silence for 20 minutes.

The money will go to the Shelterbox charity which provides emergency shelters to people who are affected by disasters around the world.
