A MAN who died on the Bromsgrove Highway has been described as a loving and caring partner and father by his family.

Stuart Burns, 41, of Crossley Walk, lost his life on Saturday (December 14) after an incident with three cars about 6am.

The father-of-two who was originally from Dundee, in Scotland, and a production team member at Kimal had been out on a works Christmas night out the previous evening.

He and a group of his colleagues had been for a meal in Worcester and arrived back in Bromsgrove about 1.30am before they went to the nightclub Love 2 Love.

It is not known how he came to be walking along the Bromsgrove Highway, heading in the direction of Redditch.

His family learnt of his death after reporting him missing on Saturday morning.

Ann Marks, Mr Burns' partner of 22 years, and his two daughters, aged seven and 20, are desperate for information on what happened in his last hours.

Miss Marks said they would be trying to celebrate Christmas for the sake of their youngest daughter as it is what Mr Burns would have wanted.

"He was loving and caring, and would do anything for me and the kids," she said.

"Our thoughts are with the drivers of the cars.

"They must be devastated."

Anyone with information should contact Rubery Police Station or call 101.
