RESIDENTS in Church Hill gathered together to celebrate the festive season in the shadow of their emerging new district centre.
After some community carol singing around the centre’s Christmas tree visitors enjoyed a variety of stalls including food and arts and crafts. There was also the chance to ride a rodeo horse and pick up a gift or two.
Father Christmas was also there along with his helper elf Coun Pat Witherspoon handing out presents to youngsters.
The event involved a number of groups, led by St Andrew’s Church and the district’s PACT group.
