VOLUNTEERS have been given equipment to help them continue providing life-saving emergency care.
Redditch Round Table members have donated two defibrillators to the town’s First Responders who work alongside the ambulance service to attend 999 calls.
Member Jason Robbins said: “Redditch Round Table is totally committed to ensuring that the funds that we collect are used in the local community.
“The First Responders team of volunteers provide the community with an outstanding service and I am sure that everyone would agree that this is a very worthy cause.”
First Responders co-ordinator Dave Tew added: “We were delighted to hear from Redditch Round Table. Donations and new equipment are essential for us to provide our service to the local community and we can’t thank the Round Table members enough for their support.”
