GENERATIONS will be uniting in the spirit of Christmas during a luncheon for 80 older residents.

The annual event will be hosted by Matchborough Youth Forum on December 19 using divisional funds given to them by county councillors.

Coun Joe Baker and mayor Wanda King are set to attend as well as Father Christmas who will be giving presents to well-behaved guests.

Forum leader Coun Juliet Brunner said: “I’m thrilled we were able to get support for this popular annual event.

“The young people have been planning for weeks and are looking forward to hosting it.”
