THERE were plenty of highs in Beoley First School’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Children at the Beoley Lane school had huge fun performing their Christmas pantomime which told the story of a young boy who uses magic beans to grow a giant beanstalk and live happily ever after with his mother.

The entire school were involved in the production which was performed in front of family and teachers.

Katie Sweeney, deputy headteacher, said the children were so good they rivalled a Palace Theatre performance.

“They had great fun and they worked extremely hard.”
