FUTURE generations are set to get an insight into life in Redditch in 2013 thanks to a group of pupils.
Students at RSA Academy Arrow Vale buried a time capsule with the help of Simon Lynch, director of learning and standards for humanities, selecting and creating items which would capture life in the present day.
The event formed part of the RSA Archive's Explore Your Archive campaign, inspired by a ceremony in 1772 when the foundation stones were laid at the society's base.
A school spokesman said: "The students' aims in creating the capsule are to reflect modern life, inform our future descendants of the nature of Redditch and provide a glimpse into the life of RSA Academy Arrow Vale in 2013.
"Much speculation was in the air as students discussed what life might be like in 200 years time."
