A REDDITCH pupil proved she has got bags of potential after winning a supermarket art competition.
Sonia Javed from Matchborough First School will see her artwork printed on 250 reusable shopping bags which will tell Tesco customers how to use their new online shopping service.
The nine-year-old was asked to design an eye caching picture to go alongside the Click and Collect logo to promote the service which allows shoppers to order their food online and arrange a time to pick them up at a collection point in the store’s car park.
Sonia’s entry was selected by judges for its colour, impact, sense of fun and style, and she has now won £250 for the school, as well as £25 Tesco gift card for herself. Her bags will also be given to parents and children from the school.
