A total of 6,400 Heinz beans with sausages were taken from the vehicle, which was in a layby on the A441 at Cookhill around half a mile from the M42, while the driver slept in his cab.
The incident happened between 8.45pm on Monday (October 21) and 5.30am the following day.
The white Scania lorry had the name LKW Walter on the side of the blue and yellow trailer while the product code for the entire pallet and part of a second pallet which were stolen is 71517000 with an expiry date of March 31, 2015.
