AN OLYMPIC visitor made a splash at Holyoakes Field First School when he visited to talk to pupils.
Children at the Bridge Street school had the chance to find out more about Ross Davenport, who has competed in freestyle events at both the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games. They were also given their own sporting challenges, with different exercises to try out at home in return for sponsorship.
A spokeswoman said: “Over £400 has been raised with more money still coming it. The children loved meeting him and really loved doing all the exercises.”
