A WOODROW cyclist has died after falling from his bike in Inkberrow.
Clint William Fidler, from Tredington Close, came off his bicycle in High Street, near the Bulls Head pub about 11.25am on Sunday, September 29.
The 54-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious head and chest injuries, where he passed away on Tuesday, October 8.
PC Michael Haines of West Mercia Police said: "An inquiry was launched to establish what happened, and establishing the full facts obviously becomes even more imperative now that Mr Fidler has sadly died."
He was wearing all in one black and grey cycling gear with short sleeves and short legs.
The Worcestershire coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held in due course.
Anyone with any information should contact Redditch police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 258-s-290913.
