STAFF from a Redditch company visited the set of Emmerdale recently to drop off a cheque for charity.
Members of Haunted Happenings, based in Edward Street, handed over £4,220 raised through a ghost hunt with the cast of the ITV soap along with merchandise sales and a personal donation from the company.
The money will be donated to Ruddi’s Retreat, a Yorkshire based charity which provides holidays to families of children suffering from cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
Staff were given a tour of the Emmerdale Set and village by actress Kelli Hollis who plays Ali Spencer.
Director Wayne Spurrier said: “This was a fantastic day and knowing the difference the money will make to this small charity makes it even more special.”
