MORE than 600 people signed a special scroll aimed at promoting the health of children and pregnant women as it travelled to Worcestershire.
The Precious Cargo scroll, part of a Guinness World Record attempt, spent time at both the Worcestershire Royal Hospital and the Alexandra Hospital in a bid to attract more signatures.
It was transported from Worcester to Redditch on Tuesday (October 15) by the Severn Freewheelers, a group of volunteer emergency blood bikers.
The aim of the project, organised by charity Motorcycle Outreach which provides motorcycles for use by healthcare workers in developing countries, is to visit as many people in the world involved with midwifery, staring with a tour of UK hospitals and maternity units.
