RESIDENTS are being offered the chance to join the group responsible for buying health services for Redditch and help improve and shape them in the future.
Redditch and Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioning Group has launched its Now Have Your Say (NHS) membership scheme. It offers people the chance to get involved in the planning of local health services.
There are different levels of membership for people who want to get heavily involved and those who just want to receive information or comment on plans or developments.
Anyone aged 14 and over and registered with one of the 22 GP practices in Redditch and Bromsgrove can apply for membership which is free.
Dr Jonathan Wells, chair and clinical lead for the CCG, said: "NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG recognises quality services start with the people that are using them, and by involving local people we can improve the efficiency of local services together.
"We are committed to patient and public involvement and we want the scheme to enable the Clinical Commissioning Group, patients, carers and the public to work together to better understand and help shape local health services."
Visit www.redditchandbromsgroveccg.nhs.uk/get-involved/now-have-your-say for more information or pick up a leaflet from a GP surgery. Forms are also available by post by calling Vickie Deacon on 01527 488740 or email Vickie.Deacon@worcestershire.nhs.uk
