NEW BUSES have hit the streets of Redditch.
Borough MP Karen Lumley unveiled a fleet of five new vehicles bought by Diamond on Monday (October 7) which will be used on the 55-56 and 51 routes.
Mrs Lumley said: "With the restrictions placed by the Office of Fair Trading now thankfully over, I am confident Diamond will be running excellent, reliable services for my constituents and very much look forward to the working with them to ensure public transport in Redditch is of the standard which people rightly expect."
Since March this year the operator has also replaced all step-entranced vehicles and has purchased 19 additional vehicles for the town's routes.
