THERE was plenty to shout about in Alcester as the town's newest high bailiff was elected.
Following the Court Leet elections last Thursday (October 3) town crier David Parkes stood outside St Nicholas Church to cry in Steven Brown as high bailiff and Vaughan Blake as low bailiff.
Both will maintain the group's 700 year-old traditions and ceremonies including the famous assizes.
Former high bailiff John Mills will now become immediate past bailiff.
