A REDDITCH apprentice has been named the best in the Midlands at a prestigious awards ceremony.
James Gee from Capgemini was given the higher apprentice of the year prize at the regional finals of the National Apprenticeship Awards.
The 20-year-old said: “My apprenticeship has provided me with an invaluable opportunity, I gain unique experience working on live IT systems learning from industry experts.
“I love what I do and I want others to be inspired by my experience.”
James and his fellow winners will now go through to the final national judging stage, with the final set to be held on November 14 at the NEC during The Skills Show.
