A MAN will appear before magistrates this month charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a jogger was hit by a car.
The 18-year-old will go to court on Tuesday, October 29, following the incident which happened around 8.15pm on March 12 this year.
He was arrested three days later and has been on bail since. He was also charged with failing to stop after a collision and failing to report a collision and produce insurance.
A 17-year-old runner was hit by a Renault Clio in Springvale Road, Webheath, which left him with a broken, a bruised shin and a dislocated ankle.
No further action is being taken against a 19-year-old man who was also arrested.
