A BUSINESS woman helped raise hundreds for Birmingham Children's Hospital to thank staff for saving her grandson's life.
Julie Bridgwater hosted a fashion show at VIP Eye Wear in Tardebigge Court to mark the company's first birthday.
She raised £308 for the cancer appeal at the hospital after grandson Charlie had a six-hour life-saving operation when he was born.
"My daughter Nikki was delighted with the amount raised. Charlie is three now and last week had his last operation at the hospital.
"It was an emotional evening as Nikki thanked everyone that had supported her over the last three years. It was a sell-out night with over 140 people attending."
