CUSTOMERS of a Redditch bank had the chance to get up close and personal with a four legged friend.
Those visiting Lloyds Bank on Church Green East on Monday (September 23) were greeted by the bank’s black horse as it held an event day to mark a change from Lloyds TSB, as it becomes a stand-alone brand for the first time in 18 years.
The opening ceremony also saw the launch of a community grant scheme where good causes in the area could receive £3,000 or £300.
Residents are asked to vote for the organisation which is most important to them, including borough based charities the Redditch Association for the Blind and Redditch Heart Safe. People can vote by visiting communityfund.lloydsbank.com/voting until November 1.
