A TASTE of Europe was on offer to Alvechurch school children.
Pupils from Crown Meadow First School learned about the different cultures and languages in France, Greece, Germany, Italy and Spain as part of the European Day of Languages.
Greek gods, Spanish senoritas and German fräuleins all walked the corridors of the Birmingham Road school as children, including those from the nursery, got in costume for the day.
Catering staff also cooked up an extra special treat by offering a special European lunch for students to sample food from across the cultures.
Teacher Claire Baird said: “The children had a very enjoyable day and the school was buzzing with excitement and new languages.”
