POLICE want to speak to a man who harassed a woman on a train from Redditch to Northfield, subjecting her to inappropriate behaviour.
It happened between 6pm and 6.15pm on July 19 when the victim, who was 45, was speaking on her mobile phone at Redditch Station.
The man, who she did not know, approached her and asked if he could talk to her. He then followed her onto the train and sat on the opposite side of the aisle to her.
As the train approached Northfield, an incident occurred which caused the woman distress. The man then got off at Northfield Station.
British Transport Police have now released a CCTV image of the man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
PC Dawn Dominguez said: “This was purely unwanted attention which made the woman feel intimidated and uncomfortable.
“If someone has made you feel uncomfortable on your journey - however insignificant it may seem - reporting it to police can prevent this happening to another passenger.”
Witnesses or anyone with any information should call British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, text 61016 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
