A NEW service for pregnant women is available in the town.
The Life Redditch Pregnancy Care Service offers free advice as well as emotional and practical support for expectant mothers and after the birth.
A confidential listening service for women who are thinking about having an abortion, or for those who have already had one, is also available.
Volunteer Irene Wells said: "It's a place where people can come to talk about their worries and concerns throughout pregnancy and they can get some extra advice or information on issues which they might be unsure about."
As of this month a team of volunteers, who have all worked in the medical profession, will be based at the Ecumenical Centre above the Santander and Halifax banks on Evesham Walk, offering a drop in service from 10.30am until 12pm on Fridays.
