THE NEW season of a borough organisation is set to start this month with a familiar face at the helm.
Sandra Hughes has been re-elected president of the Redditch Society for a fourth year, with Brian Stallard remaining as the organising secretary.
The first meeting with take place at 7.30pm on Friday, September 20, at Trinity High School with Major General Peter Williams presenting his talk on My Life As A Cold War Spy.
Members meet fortnightly with subjects including the restoration of the Droitwich canals and fingerprints for detection and intrigue.
A full list of talks is available at the town centre library. Full membership is £20 for the season but visitors are welcome to attend at a cost of £3 per meeting.
