TOY Story’s very own Buzz Lightyear and Woody made a special appearance at this year’s scarecrow-making event.
The straw creations scooped top prize at Forge Mill Needle Museum’s event, which was judged by Redditch Mayor Wanda King.
The Jervis family, who were behind the clever creations, beat 91 other entries to the title and took home with them £100 worth of Kingfisher Shopping Centre vouchers.
Scarecrow Lea, by seven-year-old Lea Van Gelder and her family, came in second winning £75 worth of vouchers, and Bob the Blacksmith by Chris Smith followed in third place with a £50 voucher prize.
More than 1,000 people attended the scarecrow-making event, which was hosted by Redditch Borough Council and included activities such as pony rides, scarecrow dancing a a mobile zoo.
